It's really not that deep. Didn't an article come out way back when where the creator said he didn't enjoy drawing cell. That it took too much time. That's why they chose frieza over cell. Cell was always stronger than frieza and he also never trained. He has the potential of the fighters who's dna he has so yes, also most limitless thanks to them. People read into it way too much.. As mentioned, the creator just didn't enjoy drawing him 😑
