Bioware completely changed the Crows who were in canon murderous assassins who bought children to raise and train, many of whom did not survive the training. Turning them into heroes is not credible to anyone who played Origins. Yes, I remember Zevron. The Crows were hunting him down for failing to murder his target. It is certainly NOT a 'classic' choice.

They do not 'change gender' but obviously you do not know what non-binary means. It is part of their story arc just as being gay causing his father to threaten him with blood magic and reject him was part of Dorian's story arc in DAI. That was 'stuffed in your fact' unless you chose not to recruit him or do his story arc. So just admit that you have not played the series and are in fact nothing but a tourist fake.

You need to get your money back for your two cents. There have always been variety of sexualities in Dragon Age from the very beginning.  Zevran and Lelianna could have same-sex romances in Origins, and there were sex workers of vague gender, which you would know if you were part of their fan base, which you obviously are not. It is not a 'new' tone and direction' but continuing in the direction which indeed did not need fixing. What needs fixing in this one is the terrible writing and voice acting.
