It makes me so happy seeing a non wrestling-focused site show so much knowledge about AEW’s history. Even though I haven’t been a fan of AEW for years and hate the current product, the original AEW (before Tony Khan turned it to garbage) is my favorite Wrestling promotion and will always have a special place in my heart that no other company or era can replace.

AEW could absolutely do what this article is talking about (and even have Cody in it if they had a better negotiator and were less politically ant-WWE), but the question is, with Tony Khan in charge, will they? Probably not. The modern AEW hasn’t shown an ability to make intelligent decisions.
