This just came up on googles ai search for affinity guides for AoW4. Just want to call out an error  "tier 1 Tomes will vanish from the list once you pick up two of them. The only way to unlock them again is to pick up every other Tome with the same Affinity." This has never been how tomes work. Its true that once you can unlock tier 2 tomes for an affinity the tier 1 tomes disappear from the selection wheel, however you can still select them by pressing the show all tomes button at the bottom of the tome selection screen.

As for my affinity preference I had 2 ('Astral, Nature, Materium' and 'Shadow, Chaos, Materium) but the new DLC broke the second one. I've found that the new DLC makes it much harder to go with three affinities. For the first one I have to swap out one astral tome for one Nature tome, but for the second I have to add two low tier chaos tomes with nothing to take out which pushes all my research back considerably.
