As long as you aren't required to do more than lfr to get rep, I think this is fine. The issue comes down to progression teams refusing to take others without achievements or gear scores.

It's already BS that I'm seeing 623 min ilvl reqs for heroic raids which doesn't even drop that ilvl.

Personally, I'd like to see delves expand so the gear rewards match M+ all the way to the max ilvl.
