Thomas is a National Hunter for a reason and a National Hunter can clear an S-Rank Gate by themselves. If an S-Rank hunter can't clear an S-Rank Gate alone, a National Hunter can certainly do that. Don't forget there are big gaps between ranks. National Rank is faaaaaar above S-Ranks. The best S-Rank hunter is no match for the weakest National hunter. Understand who The Goliath is!
