I love ME2. But for me I preferred ME1, especially after the legendary edition smoothed out combat. The player building was more complex. Electronic bypassing and hacking was way more challenging. Not using ammo was great, you just watched your heat levels. You could find many more types of armors. Money was easier to make. I even enjoyed exploring planets in the MAKO. I was more invested in the original crew as well. ME2 was fun but it was just an over simplified shooter to me.

Im looking forward to this. It just looks relaxing. I love that they added an obscure character from the lore. I adore the books of Tolkien and this looks like it might actually capture the spirit of them.

I loved exploring in Morrowind. Many didnt like that they got no quest markers on the map. I loved that. It encouraged me to pay attention to my surroundings and look for landmarks and clues. Reading all the books helped too. Some books gave clues too. It was fun to me. Oblivion and Skyrim made things too easy to find.

ME1 will always be my favorite. More complex character building, better planetary exploration, more options with weapons and armors, etc. There was just way more depth to it. That all went away with 2 and 3. But, that was when they merged with EA. As soons as you let EA in they destroy your creativity and put unreasonable deadlines on you. ME3 really was hurt by that.

I've always preferred Morrowind. Sure the graphics are dated. But you had to actually explore. No map markers forced you to read the quest, books, maps, and listen for clues. It was real exploring. The first book I read starting the game was Chance's Folly(?), about robbing a crypt. I stumbled on the crypt outside the beginner town and it was like the book described. I loved that detail and investigative exploring. Map markers might be convenient but there is no sense of real exploration. I remember being sent after a winged twilight who was hiding in a cave by an entrance of mothers milk. I stumbled on a white pool on the other side of the continent. There it was, I found in a month after getting the quest. I miss that kind of explorative gaming.

I loved Morrowind. I loved that it had no map markers. It made you explore. It was like real life. Combat was janky and the enemies, while numerous, were stupid. They were terrible casting spells. Pretty much was just hack n slash. And cliff racers were a huge pain that never broke off combat. Especially in the beginning. I had one chase me to the Ghost Gate, I went inside, teleported to Balmora and didnt go back for a month. It was still waiting for me. But the game was so big, deep with lore, and had so much to explore that you could easily overlook any issues. And the modders fixed a lot. Easily the best ES game for me.

The wizards had their power limited by the Valar. The last thing the Valar wanted was another Sauron. When Gandalf's body was killed in his fight with the balrog he was sent back and resurrected by Eru himself. He was granted a little more of his Maiar power in order to replace Saruman. At that point the only being that could have really defeated Gandalf one on one was Sauron. Galdalf was atop Shadowfax and stood against the Witch King denying him entry into Minas Tirith. He could have been defeated by the swarm of orcs but one on one the Witch King didnt try him. The movies got so much wrong in the stories.

The game is meant to be relaxing. If ppl want challenging then find a harder game. The hobbits lived quiet, simple lives. What they have made seems to fit the lore just fine.

I would love a game that covers the Scouring of the Shire. You got to see that hobbits can be pushed too far. And when that happens they become fierce fighters. But this article is all conjecture. I doubt it will be in this cutesy game.

I know I'm in the minority but I like Morrowind over all the ES games. I hated Oblivion and Skyrim just wasn't interesting to me. I'd love to see Morrowind redone in a better engine.

If he had been in the movies it would have only been in Fellowship. Gandalf ran into him on the Greenway near Bree. He told Gandalf about the Nazgul and gave Sarumans invite to Orthanc. But after helping save Gandalf he dissappeared. Scouts wents through Rhosgobel and he was nowhere to be found. The Hobbit trilogy horribly portrayed him. He wasnt a loon riding a rabbit pulled sled around with bird crap on his face. Radagast(Aiwendil, his real name) was a Maiar. The same angelic like creatures created by Eru and participated in the Ainulindalë, the song of creation. He served the Valië Yavanna, Queen of Earth. He wasnt chosen to go to Middle Earth like the others. Yavanna begged Curumo(Saruman) to take him too. Saruman consented but was displeased about it. She sent Radagast with the task to protect nature and the animals from the conflict. He wasnt tied to the fate of the ring like Gandalf. So when the war of the ring started his task was basically done. Whether that war was won or lost there was nothing left for him to do. Nothing is written about it but I always figured he shed his fleshly body and went back home to Aman as his angelic Maiar self. But that is up for debate.
