See AllSay Goodbye To Naruto Uzumaki, And Welcome The New Strongest Character In Boruto
and frankly I think the momoshiki possession thing is stupid. They should of introduced new jinjuriki and entities, then had boruto bond with one of them. Having him share a body with a villain, keeps the character too far in the morally grey area. While naturo and boruto should be inspirations and not be capable of being controlled.
Kurama never controlled naruto. He influenced nudged and his power corrupted naruto. But he was never able to take over narutos body.
I dont like the otsutsutski villains enough to have them be a permanent part of borutos power set.
Getting rid of the karama should be borutos goal, and attaining power he can use without relying on it.
But bonding him with a new tailed beast, would keep going what made naturo so compelling to watch.

I get Boruto is the main character and focus now. And thats cool. I am interested in learning more about his powers, and what he can do now. But naruto still should be number 1. As I read in a comment below, the next generation of kids, that would eventually surpass their parents, probably shouldnt of happened until naruto retired.
Cutting him out, and then weakening him by getting rid of kurama was a bad creative decisison imo. And I get they did it to put more focus on boruto.
But boruto, should not be the MAIN focus YET.
Hes still alot younger then naruto was, when naruto attained greater power. Naruto progressed realistically. So it should be the same with boruto. WHo imo should be the strongest ninja ever, in the entire series.
But it should of happened in his late teens early 20s.
ANd naruto should always be connected to kurama, and have access to his power.
Because unless naruto gets some insane new jinjuriki powers from a different tailed beast, they should bring back kurama, and boost narutos power levels to surpassing his son. At least until later in the series.
You could explain naruto has been weakened since being captured by kawaki(which is a character I hate personally) but once he is free, he attains his old six path power from the end of shippuden.
