See AllTerrifier 3 Director Reveals The Line He Will Not Cross On The Big Screen
"It's like you're trying to shock the audience so much it just becomes desperate."
The Terrifier series itself feels very desperate. The over-the-top kills, the lame effects, and the poorly written characters of every movie after the first one is literally the epitome of desperation. The movies aren't even that bad, but the execution is just pure desperation to try and create something shocking, something scary. Of course, the budgets haven't been all that high for any of them, but nonetheless, they're very desperate movies, lol. I still watch them and I still like them, but how is this man going to pretend that they're anything but a desperate attempt to make something scary without actually giving the characters any kind of motive or development.
