I feel a bit tricked to be honest. It's a cool looking gear, but there wasn't much transparency with strength of the armour and weapons, it's significantly weaker than my current armor. Releasing this DLC now surely Warhorse realizes that most players are carrying the most powerful armor.

It's too weak that I think I won't be ever using it, especially not on hard-core mode. I feel I've been tricked into paying for a cosmetic rather than proper armor.
