My first PS1 jrpgs were FF7 and FF8 but the one I remember most fondly was Star Ocean Second Story. My cousin let me borrow this mysterious game and I would stay up all night in the hot summer with the breeze coming through the window, getting lost for hours in the crafting system and pickpocketing every character in the game. I loved every minute of it and just bought the remake which is put together exceptionally well so far.
