I had this same issue. If you don't have hidden files click on so you can see them then you'll have to open a file explorer, click 'view' then 'show' -> 'hidden items', then AppData should appear in your file explorer. If that doesn't work then you can always put '/AppData' at the end of your file browser url, '<yourname>/AppData'. There is a second civVII folder that can cause confusion which is what I think you're looking at, but it's not that one.
