I would expect it to be relatively normal that the average age for RPGs with realistic graphics is relatively high. I don't see a problem with that.

But it's media and cooperations. They are stupid and have weird ideas of how the world works.

If it shows one thing that it's stupid to censor your games. Especially the FF7 remakes.

 GOTY is about impact on gaming culture and gaming industry in the first place rather than just being a great game. As long as there is no other indie game earth-shaking the landscape by an AAA-ish rpg experience out of nowhere, there is no real competition for Clair Obscur.
