Oh, no. With GR, IGN, and basically any other bloated online journalism, they were too focused on growing.
Then they realised it has a large upkeep. So they chose to shill and make backdoor deals. Most AAA game reviews will never go lower than a 6, unless it's a huge flop they cannot hide like Anthem, which GR rated 5,8.
Not surprising. Bioware didn't even tried to cover it up in some cases.
They hired Bioware/Dragon Age YouTubers to be in the Dragon Age Community Council, basically PR pretending to be advocates for players. When I say "hired" I mean these YouTubers literally became Bioware employees.
