According to the update notes they fixed this issue with an update the day after the game released, at least on Android. I see how that would have been a problem problem, but it doesn't seem to be anymore. The sell area isn't even close to my last joker slot. They also fixed the other glaring issue regarding the campfire joker not giving its benefit. I found that out myself firsthand after my first run. You should make an edit at the start of the article that the issue in question was fixed, considering it was fixed before this article was even posted.
