The End is by far the strongest limit break. My first time ever using Selfie, and on my first playthrough. I opened the lantern to fight Diablos 2 demis and 2 retries on her limit break and The End popped up. The fight was over before it really began. I didn't learn until nearly 2 decades later that The End was a very difficult limit break to get. Seemed so simple because of my luck.

What's the point of having protagonists if they don't have the ability to go toe to toe with the antagonist? Experience, armament, (esper,GF,ect.) Shouldn't be regarded as insufficient just because game writing has never been good enough to explain how these protagonists become powerful enough to save their respective worlds against incredibly powerful antagonists in unfavorable conditions. I personally love it for what it is. A fantasy!
