Speed Punks was known as Speed Freaks in PAL territories. Also - it actually released before Crash Team Racing there, but was held back months for the USA release so Crash Team Racing could have the Christmas sales to itself. As such, it didn't sell well in that region. Its still a lot of fun to play and more solid kart racers is always a good thing

The Outer Worlds 2 was my favourite RPG of 2025. It deserved good sales, but I think with Obsidian looking at their sales, maybe they will do a remake of Fallout New Vegas, or a new Fallout.

Fallout New Vegas is my favourite, but I also really love the series and love that Bethesda bought it so they can continue it. And I also loved Wasteland 3 and wish more people give that a go.

Overwatch 2 would be a better game if it stuck to what made the original so great. There are a lot of new heroes, but they aren't memorable. Think about it - the original game new heroes became icons, memorable, with backgrounds and stories and they were interesting. The new characters may be fun to play, but I dont even remember their names. The agressive micro transactions, the push for battle pass and shop revenue, and the lack of anything new and meaningful for PVE players have killed my interest. Such a shame - Overwatch is a shell of its former self. It's why Jeff isn't even with the company anymore.

Who cares about the console wars? Like you state - Microsoft is playing the long game. And they are making a lot of great games. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was one of the best games of 2024, and Keeper was my personal GOTY for 2025.

Why not offer it as an option? If its clearly something the community wants and is literally asking for - you could easily bake it in to the options for those who want it while still making the option that you prefer as the defacto.

I'm curious to see what the new title is. I would have thought that they'd showcase Gears of War E Day or Halo Campaign Evolved. But if it's something new, it would be good to see something along the lines of Keeper - which was just so charming.

I agree. Brianna White has produced a lot of content that could easily be mined to create AI characters that she would never herself voice. I personally feel there is no need for AI at all in gaming, but I can understand where she is coming from.

It was a strong year, and why I decided to put in for a couple months towards the end of the year. I got to complete Keeper, a beautiful game that if it wasn't on Game Pass, I may have missed. Also South of Midnight, another atmospheric adventure game that I only played due to Game Pass. I also completed Doom The Dark Ages and Gears of War Reloaded, as well as Herdling, Tony Hawk 3+4, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Minami and Botany Manor. All in 3 months - so I definitely got my value. I think Ill pick it up again mid next year, and get into Outer Worlds 2, Avowed and some of the Call of Duty titles. And Ball x Pit.

How about the price they were when they were released?

Dragon Age: The Veilguard was available brand new to keep for less than $25 when it came on to PS Plus. This was widely reported and helped lose EA share value.

The PS Plus service has been providing less and less value for years, and it pales in comparison to Nintendo Switch Online and Game Pass.
