No Final Fantasy,? Probably still to date the most recognised RPG series of the decades. People have their favourite entries yet at least FF 7 was a bar-raiser that innovated the genre. Other than that it's a decent listing.

Personally I have to disagree with Red Dead, yes it has one of the best video gaming stories ever written yet I don't think the gameplay 'pales' in comparison.

It's an older title of course but I remember having hours upon hours of fun even just with it's side activities 15 years ago as I'd had in playthroughs since.

It became a classic that can stand up today because it had a good story/gameplay ratio and so as great as the script is (it was absolutely a major factor toward the titles success but not solely) I feel it wasn't compensating for so-so repetitive gameplay.

RD just wouldn't have had the same renown otherwise.
