I honestly don't get all the uproar that people are in about the latest update personally, but I also haven't been experiencing disconnects as much as it seems some people have been, which that issue I completely understand. The complaints about slowing the game down and all that though, I don't see it. I've been playing the new Huntress class and absolutely flew through the campaign into the endgame no problem using the whirlwind/tornado combo, and have been enjoying the endgame changes a lot, especially now that you don't just lose your whole map if you die once. That's the thing though, ever since I started POE 1, there always seems to be a very vocal portion of players who just seem to dislike every change that occurs.
It's not any different than POE 1. You weren't paying for the game, you were paying for the currency you use to get cosmetics and stash tabs, and got what you paid for (same amount you would have gotten in POE 1 for the same price), with the added bonus of being able to play early access. Honestly, this article comes off as click bait. The only reason people were commenting on the cosmetic announcement about the issues they want addressed, is because it was a new post, not the actual cosmetics themselves.
