My take.
No 6. Personally I love harem in shows, I don't need an in-depth romance development, but I won't say no when presented. The issue with the harem is poor writing. (Will go in-depth another time)
No 3. Fan service I couldn't really care. If the story is already good, it's not much of a bother, but when there's plot to unfold and you waste a good chunk of time on that it's annoying
No 1. Excess visual impact, I still don't understand what you mean by this. And a lot of people I know actually appreciate good visualized cruel scenes as it makes the severity of the situation, also adds a sense of realism
7 Reasons Why Isekai Anime Might Be Driving Fans Away
For me I hated Arifueta Season 1, yes (hated not disliked). But season 2 was actually better once you look beyond the romance (cause just remembering the loli vampire makes my skin crawl).
But failure frame, na it was bad. The terrible CGI really dropped the ok rating for the plot. The plot is nothing great or maybe it's better in the manga, I don't know (anime only watcher here).
The beginning was rather in-between Arifueta and Shield hero.
The plot from there is okay but the terrible CGI just makes it difficult to give it the props it deserves.
My goodness I almost cried cause of the terrible CGI.
My love for isekai genre was what kept me going.
Cause I'd have dropped it like I did ninja kamui after the first CGI intensive episode
