See AllDigimon Story: Time Stranger Has a Clear Digivolution Line [RETROSPECTIVE]
Great article and expansive enough to include titles I Didn't know about. Wish emulation wasn't so precarious. However it is worth distinguishing that it's likely we can receive more Digimon World or Digimon Survive titles. The narrative has been framed to seem like they are developing with a hit or miss mentality, but I've been led to believe that they are categorizing their titles into a series based format. Digimon World games are Open World, Digimon Story games follow a linear story plot of a designated protagonist, Digimon Survive is a darker horror based more-story-than-RPG focused on "your choices have consequences". It's not about one being more successful than the other or being the favored choice, but rather continuing on with series genre in a way that appeals to All of their fan-base. Linear story games are always popular, even as open world RPGs. But less replayable- which is probably why we see more of them. I replay them all every year or so. I'm a big digimon fan, but the Story games just feel more stale on replay than World games, the dialogue, the exposition, get old. Like reruns.
One Piece: Why Buggy May Actually Be Strong
Truth is, Buggy just got robbed of his potential for the sake of being a lead comedy character. His introduction showed him being intelligent enough to have created a super destructive cannonball unique to him, the Buggy Ball. This massive cannonball had the destructive force to wipe out an entire city with an immediate, right-out-the-barrel explosive blast. Similar range to the destruction sought in Alibasta with the Comically Huge cannonball in the clocktower. Unfortunately the power of the Buggy Ball was nerfed in the first fight with Luffy, becoming more of a regular cannonball that Luffy could deflect, and explosions that destroy only a corner of a buildings roof. His genius gunpowder didn't get reused until Marineford when he reveals his mini-buggy bomb, a marble-sized cannonball with the power of a full-sized cannonball. His greatest power is actually his Secret Gunpowder Recipe, which probably contributed heavily to his crews development prior to his introduction into the story. However The Pirate Clown has been reduced to Just That. A Clown who's Undaunted Lucky Streak makes us guffaw in disbelief.
