Didn't read the post, only the title so take with a grain of salt but from what I can gather just don't mix Gears of War with God Of War. That's it's. Too many games try and adopt other aspects of games to make them more GENERALLY popular and they end up boning both sides at any level. Please for the love of God, don't combine any elements of the two. Gears of War is cool for what it's known for and that GOW 1-3 that's its. Add on to that formula please. But don't water down the story of GOW to add elements of Kratos just to satisfy casuals of the series. Your actual fans outweigh the people that just want to change the franchise for their own good.
