Nintendo and the Zelda team have already stated that the Breath of the Wild/ Tears of the Kingdom iteration of Hyrule is complete. They're done with it. They're sticking with the open world concept, but are moving away with those games world and systems.
I have zero tolerance or respect for anything that leakers say. Look at what happened with the Insomniac Studios leak. Spider-Man 2 DLC was completely canceled because of it. Don't be surprised if Nintendo cancels whatever Direct they may have had plans for due to leaks. On the subject of the Direct, it's more likely it would be a Partner Showcase rather than a first party Nintendo Direct.
