I think the PVPers get angry at people calling for a PVE mode because that would mean a lot fewer easy targets for them. Frustrated guys who think they're big bad wolves killing the sheep, if they were only put with other big bad wolves and get murdered all the time they'd go play something else.

I totally agree with you, I just got shot in the back while calling for elevator by some loser who had just emoted 'don't shoot', and it's making me seriously consider telling this game to F off, even though it's the most exciting game I've played in a very long time. It's the ARC that make it exciting, not getting shot in the back.
