I was surprised they gave us paladin after they said all classes in expansions would be new classes. I think when they lost 95% of their player base they added pally as a hail mary. If they were paying attention theyd give the fans the amazon but if they were going with something new, id think it would involve paladin art as that came out of nowhere. I could see a dark magic knight

Since you have to get to 60 with 1 toon to farm the caches, i dont see the issue. It just allows them an easier method to level all the classes per season. Since leveling different classes is better than their so called end game, it sounds dumb to kill it. Its not like that many people are still playing their game anyway

This is exactly why i dont play d4 anymore. You created these items in a vacuum and then gamers find an interaction that does exactly what is the intention of your game but too well. Then hire better people to test it or stop making it. Borderlands has unintended interactions but they let it go to concentrate on buffing toons so people have more options when they later fix it. D4 doesnt care if your build is ruined. Microsoft is brain dead to customers, hence why they raised the price of ultimate after the last 2 yrs they underdelivered on their promises. Every games showcase says lots of games then 6 come out with 3 great. Terrible company, sad.

Its their game, let them build whatever they want. Heres an idea, stop playing. Thats what i did, ill wait till the full release to see what exactly the game is rather than complain about these roller coaster of ideas.

The templar in poe specialized in fire and totems and was more battle mage so i would expect it to stay the same in poe2. That wont scratch the itch for a paladin albeit its a really fun class. D4 still has a huge following and will continue to thrive, its a much more accessible game. Poe2 is a niche game, love the combat but the loot during leveling isnt worth my valuable time so ill wait for the full release. Titan quest2 goes to early access soon and is a great game and another arpg is out as well. Competition is heating up, good for gamers

If the templar for poe 2 is the templar from poe then it has nothing to do with crusader or paladin. The templar was a battle mage that specialized in fire and totems. A fun class but doesnt scratch the itch for paladin. D4 is far from dead, as long as poe has a loot problem while leveling then diablo will still have a large audience.
