Ok so the Tiktoker simply didn't understand gaming as a whole, but knew about COD. Thing is, that one off, zero story kind of gaming gets more publicity.

Rather than raging, people should just explain genres of games to help get understand. Like movies.

I thought the prologue was really well balanced as a setup, every act has a purpose and a genuine turn which is not seen as much these days. My favourite scene that isn't a spoiler, landing on the continent at the start of Act 1, wow what a way to set the tone. Can't recommend the game highly enough tbh

I don't get the appeal. I've had enough of the remakes and remasters. Make a new game. Charging £/$50 for this is crazy. The same applies to Days Gone, released this week.

Will give these a miss and play Expedition 33 instead. A new game that's had very positive reviews

It's also January. People don't have the money in Jan.

Eventually it'll drop down the list as everyone that wants one gets one, others may turn to refurbished or used to grab a bargain.

Let's see how the year pans out but if the Switch 2 only offers yet another generation of Mario and Zelda, the Deck will be fine

Extra is the best value option and has been for at least a year now. The game catalogue is refreshed frequently to the point that I often overlook playing the monthly offerings as there's already a lot to get through in addition to any new game I'm playing.

Essential is there because online play requires a PS+ account. Sony is hoping people move up to extra in time.

I don't think we'll see the essential tier ever disappear, it's there for people that buy games, want to play online and aren't interested in the additional variety of the game catalogue

I just don't think 8 player games would be better. Sometimes less is more.

From a technical standpoint, tracking 8 players plus all the added carnage will cause some specs to struggle more. Trying to coordinate more players probably won't work abd there'd be a mess of friendly fire fun.

I would like to see more environments and maybe a nod to the alien / predator films with a smaller number of enemies but each are much more formidable for the team to face. Lots more to ponder before 8 player matches I think.

First time playing as a warrior and I've played all of the DA games. Was surprised there was a necromancy class for that too, a Mourn Watch Warden in my case, and the shield throw (very God of War) can be upgraded to deal necrotic damage too. Probably the best DA Warrior mechanics in any of the games because of the ranged attack and the mourn watch specialism to remove the reliance on healers.

Was a leap of faith to use this build, having used a rogue in Origins, a mage in the other games and I'm glad the combat in Veilguard is great for warriors or it could have marred the entire game for me.
