Yeah I get that. Since the main game isn't as long as it could be (for the amount of monsters to fight) I think they needed a way to keep people interested in OP weapons while passively obtaining rare items you need to make their specs to something you like. As you grind and go up against the tougher monsters (tempered or otherwise) it gives you something to look strive for. I don't have PSN for multiplayer anymore, so it means the dumb dumb brigade shows up after launching a flare or upgrading those artian weapons and armor builds. I just stick with a handful so I'm going up against some hard fights looking for rarity 8 and rare armor ingredients.

The only thing I ask of the devs is no more in game fashion shows.
