10 RPGs Where You’re Treated Like the Monster
To frog in Chrono trigger is technically a monster, chrono is a death row inmate, and glasses girl is a mad scientist who frequently destroys stuff, also the villain from the first half of trigger and cross is playable if you get far enough and do the right things, frog Amy be the best person there in public opinion, but it's curious why it's not on the list.my first thought was dishonered, where everyone is crazy, but they hate you more for letting them be crazy it seems realistic in a way that was also listworthy
Pokemon TCG Pocket Player Count and Revenue Are Way Down
They put all this incentive to spend and it feels forced and cheesy, you can earn and do earn even what you pay for,but it needs to be available, and I praise them as well for having the insight to know that old collectables take up inventory space and make the game download huge,I think they should have a throwback offering every month of old premium content that you could spend you're premium on,new game modes would be great,or at least constant running events working the same way as the premium content with re releases
Final Fantasy: 8 Best Games That Don't Hold Your Hand, Ranked
Tactics is easily the hardest, and IX gets an honorable mention because I've beat tactics, but I've still never beat ozma...I easily beat the game itself but not ozma...I'm interested to see a list of games where just hidden material is difficult,I feel like that's all of them, and some of them much more misseable than others
Final Fantasy Games With The Best Endgames, Ranked
No final fantasy end game has inspired as much meme material as final fantasy tactics...with war of the lions featuring a new game plus option and optional challenge fights trigger by exploring maps from different angles to the story progression,I do have to give a shout-out to the orb boss from IX because it beat me down, but no one is ready to show up ready for seven homeless kids and get fifteen kung -fuu monks in there place.Evem if they are I would have to say that final fantasy tactics takes the case for haveing a new game plus mechanic and level scaling, because having a reason to play again without waiting a year or three to forget where everything is really is a game changer,I've not beat twelve but I imagine hunts get quite good,I do have to say as well that seven and eight make good use of things you felt were somewhere there all along, but without a new game plus there not true post game...I said all that to say mid lights deep isn't the post game content,it's the tutorial for fighting level scaling enemies, human enemies that level scale outside of the story line, and have level scale gear, attacking in formations meant to ruthlessly win is the highest level content
Borderlands 4's New Manufacturers Explained
This is the best part of borderlands...I don't play spinoffs, and I finish sidequest regularly,I was really disapointed with the three title because paywall.they seem to be getting it right with dlc characters and and gun manufacturers with canon legions and lore...if handsome jack is out of the picture and the vault stories done away with it's nice to see as the story shifts, they do away with companies that wouldn't be able to reach with product and wouldn't have stories on that world and replace them with ones that would, and hopefully those stories and that lore will part of the bought game and dlcs will be add on characters and stuff like in monster hunter such as cosmetics(it would be perfect, like chefs kiss beautiful) no one that bought borderlands one expected what they got,but they mostly wouldn't have had it any other way...just four guys looking for a thing and lots of psycho little bandit cannibal guys saying demented stuff that makes it ok to rob them;the story was was very extra...but very welcome...and some of the lore was the absolute best part
8 Final Fantasy Characters Who Ended Up Being Surprisingly Weak
I remember when people liked RPGs,half of these are secret unlock characters, I don't play ten but I've heard about Lulu, don't limit break...Vincent is hard because he's secret, and it's quite good if you invest...gogo will go if you want a mime... Technically isn't amarant optional as well,or at least missable. These are not canon playable characters(and Vincent is not a vampire although the game does call him a" creature of the night" there are spoilers and he's more of a trickster diety) so this list is final fantasy games secret characters don't have treasure in dungeons and dungeons to grind them ideally, and final fantasy six has too many characters(and from what I understand us tellah is story filler not a "main "character as well) The only thing square enix seems to have going for it is pacing and part of that is secret characters in bland spots that seem to have "unlockable"vibes...the graphics can be had elsewhere, all stories are the same eventually, the combat is frequently not really worth the trouble honestly, but nothing beats someone telling you should question the scenery more to find a clue and trying to decipher it's meaning and preparing to go to ridiculous lengths...it's very much the point of some of these games(also in six technically you can beat the game with three people in you're party so in the end game there all secret characters).this whole list is against the only thing really setting the series apart from other games and it was such a clever way to compete with kooky cheat codes that were the rival of the time
Final Fantasy: 5 Party Members Nobody Used
I've never played ffx but having a dragon be a dragoon seems like it was the answer to having a mouse be one in nine, where we were much more inspired by the mouse that was a dragoon, but without good armor and weapons quina would win a fight easily because the game will give you enemies before armor and weapons, how is cait with here but not setzer, and if you're gonna go after dragoons how is cid not here instead of cait sith (there is no bad character, except for cait sith btw) if umaros here then you have to add mog,for which;I for one, would really put you on blast...and gau as well so that's nearly half that games cast but you have one for each of three teams.last but not least rinoa wins in the end but before the last disk would sit and watch selphie hands down(pretty much unless you had a pocket station, for free revive) you don't like dragoons or blue mages, personally I think this list should start with Steiner, and I'm not sure I get setzer either, and people always ditch cid for Vincent, much to there dismay, rinoa does nothing prior to the last disk and it's kind of a hot take... Luso in final fantasy tactics is weird, like oh ramza but with poach bribe to use him, absolutely should have been fran
8 Final Fantasy Games With The Steepest Learning Curve, Ranked
I'm so confused by this list, I haven't played two or ten,but tactics is the only game that will give a you a midgame boss that will actually snap you're playthrough, and then three and five have a damage floor that will take some getting used to,and three is hard to learn because there's an invisible stat of lifetime hits, and then five is actually a random between one and five or something that's rolled when factoring enemy defense before it gets to you're stats(which are mostly equipment and jobs)two sounds really complicated, and then eight is super unnecessary but easy enough to accomplish, still between mandatory death sentences, missable chapters of the game, and a tutorial that's a whole game mode I think tactics might be the hardest to learn,it's just also possibly the fairest system to compare to actual fighting,I've not played two that sounds weird, but the pixel remasters with there zero damage hits, that are scarcely explained if at all would come next.Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about but I feel this list is wonky
8 Best Games That Play Like Classic Final Fantasy Titles
IX is a blend of tropes, but with quirky odd design choices that make light of and reflect sincere story telling, final fantasy tactics might be the most well thought out video game in existence,it's very hard and very frustrating, but you always understand why
