For a person that has written for 10 years, it seems you don't read much. Nothing about the announcement or the release of the remake of the first game includes a remake of the second game. It is a nice article, just could use a second look, especially in your sources linked. Even those are only about the first game. They do have a collection now I'm eyeing to buy, it's on sale until tomorrow Feb 16th, 2025. No mention of the second game being different now. It only came out 4 years ago and on the Switch, PC platforms.
