As long as they keep the story untouched and the battle system intact, I'm in, but I sure don't want another remake where you have little to no control over ever members of your party. Auto-attack and swapping characters during battle is lame AF and not what I'm looking for when I play a FF title, even though they left turn based after FFX.

That kind of thinking is exactly why I don't plan to play any new Final Fantasy. I hate sports games. Will somebody turn it into turn based to please me? No. In other words, if you don't like turn based RPGs, stay away from them and stop trying to ruin it for everybody else. There are other games more suited for you out there.
