The NARUTO franchise needs more Naruto to re-establish itself after Boruto. Remake/Reboot/Reset/Rewind? Whatever helps it in the long run. Boruto is a great series, but it's low-key a "dark age" for the franchise. That's the reality regardless of whether you love or hate Boruto.

Hopefully, we'll get more adventures with Naruto after Boruto ends. One way or another. I'm hoping for an actual Naruto Part 3 and/or reboot(not remake).

This is similar to how the DB franchise hit the rewind button after GT that inevitably led to Super. The Naruto franchise has objectively written itself to a dead end, and the only way "forward" will require a rewind or a reset after Boruto.

Kishimoto has already expressed interest in doing more Naruto. He said he wanted to do more one-shots and teased that he was getting inspiration for his next manga without saying whether or not it was NARUTO.

I'd like to believe Naruto and Sasuke are in their "Death of Superman" phase. Hopefully, they gets their "Return of Superman" phase at some point later in Boruto TBV. I'm not saying they'll be the strongest, but they'll get their legendary "Hero's Comeback" by the end.
