You should leave it alone or work off to farther into the future from where they left off a remake original characters is not a good idea The building off from the end of the franchise on further to the future would be more exciting to watch as well as going back to finish off Stargate universe. It would expand the experience of Stargate if you did it that way wouldn't you stories new characters. You could always start off with the original characters and then expand from there so that they show where it all came from. If it was done that way I definitely watch it
