Dave You're a better analyst than i am. I watch anime for the pure creative entertaining value of it. If it moves or wows me then I'm in. That said any element of an anime could do so. Story. Pacing. Animation. Characters. Action. Relationships. World building. Etc.

I really liked the first sea of Goblin Slayer. How it showed goblins being ruthless murderers & rapists. Lives were lost. And with the priestess, it countered with an element of innocence. The other characters were solid. A lizard warrior who wants to evolve into a dragon. A spell carrying dwarf & ur typical female elf. And of course the mysterious Goblin Slayer himself.

But moving past season one, i just found it to be redundant. "Let's go kill some goblins. How many spells do u have left? I have 2. I have 3!" I didn't think the character development budged very much at all.

Then adding that the animation was kinna mid, therein lies my overall experience.

I kinda agree with u on this. Who knows? Maybe there's only a big one or a big two or whatever in the future? Maybe the time for an anime series to sustain consistent, multiple production popularity over a decade has passed? The trio of OP, Naruto & Bleach deserve their unique & outstanding accolades. It's time to move on. Things change. Evolution of anime.

Andy naw JJK & Chainsaw are peak. Delicious Dungeon trash. Clover, Apothecary, FMAB good not great. Haven't seen 1-piece.

Jjk has some of the most clever animated and entertaining action/, battles I've seen. Characters actually die out instead of constantly regenerating. And the character designs themselves are creative & likeable. It's in my top 10

Naruto & Shippuden are worth it. In my top 3. Just Google out the fillers.

Bleach is good & worth it bc u need to get to Thousand Year Blood War which is the best of all of the anime mentioned. Again, Google out the fillers.

MHA definitely worth the time.

I couldn't get into Hunter X or Fairy Tail. Just not my vibe.

Elijah The fact that i had the draw to watch bleach but zero draw to watch one piece means that bleach is the better anime.
