Great quotes! Most of these MHA blogs stink, and you can tell not a lot of thought or love is put into them. Thank you for a refreshing post with some content I had yet to see, like Horikoshi's quote. I'm sad the anime ends this year, but with Vigilantes, and we the fandom, MHA will never truly end 🫶🏻

My Lady only has surpassed both Bakugo and Deku because she's been a Pro Hero longer. You gotta think, they were both still in Jr High when she made her debut in the Pro Hero circuit. I do think, with time, just like with Shoto and Lemillion, both of them will surpass her, Deku just got back into being a hero with his One For All mech suit, and Bakugo is still working on that sunny disposition we all love him for 🤭

🫩 I guess everyone is entitled to their opinions, and while I agree with you about SOME of that list, you left off Bakugo, who has the most compelling and profound personal growth of anyone on the series, as well as just being...the best. Sure, maybe not surprising All Might (on my list he totally does, he takes out All For One, and saves All Might) you seriously put Deku at number 8? And Kirishima totes beats Best Jeanist, Fat Gum, etc as far as all around better character. Sometimes I really wonder if y'all are watching the show/reading the manga. Give me a job, I'll give ya fan accurate lists, statistics, and good content EVERYDAY. Sometimes, it feels like AIs are writing these blogs, they don't get it either.

Omg I was gonna say almost the same thing! That's why she carries user manuals with her hero costume, so she can understand the schematics for what she makes inside and out. PLUS she can't make anything organic, so that really does fall short of "anyone she imagines." Hey gamerant, give me a job, I'm a free lance writer that is OBSESSED with MHA. Bakugo should be listed as a contender. After all, he defeated All For One, something even All Might couldn't do, and by doing so, saved All Might's life. Just saying #teambakugo 💥

He'll always be number one in my book. Plus, his bad attitude is part of what makes him so great. If a Dr performs a successful brain surgery, nobody gives a poo how poor his beside manner may, or may not, be. Bakugo takes down All For One, for good, something even All Might couldn't do. He'll keep climbing, and, one day, I hope Horikoshi will give us another tantalizing peek into his growth as the number one hero 🥰

I love that he can't stay away from making new MHA content. MHA has become a pop culture phenomenon, maybe more so than any other manga/anime. I definitely drank the Kool aid, and thanks for this article. I love seeing these updates 🥰

I agree, for starting off as an anti protagonist at the beginning, his characters growth, and development, while staying true to his explosive, aggressive, and hilarious personality, is profound. We see a lot of animes that completely shift a character's personality, as well as looks, in the entirety of a season, or two, where as Bakugo's transformation took an entire series. We literally got to watch him grow up, and realize he couldn't do everything alone, and while he might be the Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight, he's still human, a flawed boy who, at the beginning, would have used any of his classmates as collateral damage, but by season 7 sacrificed himself to buy the world more time 😭 I love him. *She says as she types this comment out on her Bakugo phone* 🤭 I'm such a nerd.

I agree, I think most MHA fans would. The bulk of the fandom, which Shigaraki surprisingly has a larger cult following through, wanted to see him finally find peace, but could he have, had Deku spared him? From a fan perspective, it's a missed opportunity, who doesn't love a story of triumph, and redemption. But, from a realistic standpoint, it isn't realistic. Shigaraki was too far consumed by his hatred, it's next to impossible for someone lacking the strong will and resolve to choose the light, and crawl out of the darkness. I wanted Deku to "save that little boy" as much as anyone, I'm tearing up just thinking about it. Shigaraki was one of my favorites, but I think Horikoshi went with the most realistic and natural ending he could for Shigaraki. He might have died in canon, but trust me, he lives on through many, many, fandom AUs. We love our itchy boi incel 🥰

I love Bakugo from start to finish. His growth is beautiful, while staying true to character. Honestly, there are so many beautiful character developments, as well as tragic ones. MHA is in a class of it's own.
