Demons may be a synonym for devil fruit users.

— Earth God Furious = perhaps Imu has a “human-human fruit, mythological type Earth God” devil fruit (or something more specific lmao). ‘Cause the God he’s “reincarnated” as didn’t like the Sun God’s (aka. Nika) appearance.

— And a little comment to the theory that Imu HAS to have consumed multiple devil fruits. Remember Kaido’s reaction to Gear 5? Luffy’s both Paramecia and Myth(…) Zoan, he technically has multiple abilities.

I honestly don’t think Oda obsesses that as much as us about every single word and line he draws — we’re just impatient and excited.

I’m not sure, if I got the facts 100% correct — just wrote it on a whim.
