One moment that really caught me off guard was a few years ago in COD: Black Ops Cold War. I was playing through a mission in the main campaign and decided to explore a bit instead of sticking to the objective. Out of nowhere, a zombie ran in front of me. I had no idea what it was at first, so I followed it—and ended up getting ambushed in a small cave. It actually startled me for a second.

Actually, when it comes to the iPhone, there’s a problem with using our phones as gaming devices: we constantly need them throughout the day, which makes us careful about battery consumption. Unlike handheld gaming consoles, you can’t really afford to drain your phone’s battery by playing games while, for example, commuting on a train—unless you’re willing to carry a power bank all the time, which might be inconvenient for many people. So, until Apple finds a way to solve this issue, I don’t think iPhones will ever become popular among gamers as primary or even secondary gaming devices.
