Actually, when it comes to the iPhone, there’s a problem with using our phones as gaming devices: we constantly need them throughout the day, which makes us careful about battery consumption. Unlike handheld gaming consoles, you can’t really afford to drain your phone’s battery by playing games while, for example, commuting on a train—unless you’re willing to carry a power bank all the time, which might be inconvenient for many people. So, until Apple finds a way to solve this issue, I don’t think iPhones will ever become popular among gamers as primary or even secondary gaming devices.
