I found a second lives of the thousand gods in chapter 10 not mentioned in this guide, after the last life of the gods you get by examining a dead body, as soon as you get in the big underground tunnel part again, you'll get shot at by rocket launchers and a missile launcher. Look to the left, close to the iron fence in the corner, you could see the chest through the fence before going up the stairs to fight the boss.
