See AllDoctor Who Showrunner Confirms They Will Employ Old Method In Season 15
Capaldi is one of the best Doctors alongside Tennant and Baker. He should have gotten another series. Maybe even with Chibnall who ofc is one of the reasons DW failed. RTD was in the wrong though with keeping Gatwa. He should have kept Tennant as primary and maybe spinoffed Gatwa. Tennant is such a brilliant actor with huge understanding of the role and so many more stories to tell. Maybe its not too late. I'm sure Disney would pay for spinnofs with David Tennant, Tom Baker, Paul McGunn(they owe him his own series with the way Amblin treated him) in the role of any Doctor regeneration.
Kevin Feige Explains the Flattering Reason Why Marvel Studios Poached A Star Trek Writer For One Upcoming Series
As for Star Trek, I think Feige did us a huge favor with hiring Matalas(from the "Shithole M'Talas" as he uptly names his planet in the series himself). He's a complete hack who knows how to write dialogue but is absolutely dead on story. Also WAY too much 2nd grade fan service. His main story collapses and ends abruptly on episode six and can't make his auxiliary one work. And the worse thing? He gave the holly Enterprise name to a sub-par hull he personally made! On top of not naming it "USS Picard" which would give the series an incredible, emotional ending and actual reason for Stewart to get tearful!!! HUGE missed opportunity to do something in Stewart's honor through ST!!!
Hopefully he'll have someone to keep a leesh on him on such stuff there, though I don't think Vision allows for much of, though I don't know with him. I mean a little, ideally dossaged fan service is ok to great depending on delivery but he overdid it and lost all measure after a point. But again he's quite good on character creation and dialogue. So if he can stick to that he might deliver a succesful series. And we'll have to deal with undoing some of the hurt he caused by over-farting his ideas on TNG.
Kevin Feige Explains the Flattering Reason Why Marvel Studios Poached A Star Trek Writer For One Upcoming Series
Doctor Who has no confusion. This is possibly due to said fans(?) Ignorance of the lore. In the 50th anniversary specials, Tennant and Baker returned as well and Baker's role as The Curator even foreshadowed the 10th-14th and possibly others to return to with saying: "In the years to come you might revisit a few, but just the old favorites" hinting that some of his future regenerations could look like other familiar regenerations. RTD then went a step further with bi-generating, since he said about it that it means ALL other doctors even past ones bigenerated. This potentially affects like 1000+ doctors if we combine it with the Timeless child lore. It is more than likely that there have been a few regenerations with familiar faces already and I don't mean just the Baker and Tennant ones we saw on screen.
Btw, where are the DW spinoffs with David Tennant(14th), Paul McGann(Bigeneration) and Tom Baker(Curator) as doctor regenerations? They would rock!
8 Fastest Movies to Make a Billion Dollars
Considering Endgame nearly made T-H-R-E-E(!!!!!!!!!) Billion dollars it should be in a list with Movies that made 2 Billion dollars(or above 1900 million dollars. I think only 5 films make it to that list so far, though there are some that might also make it.)
Actors That Would Make A Great James Bond
I like the idea of older Bond 007(assumed name and code) teaching a new one. And basically this(multiple spies sharing the identity in succession) was teased with Lazenby, Bardem and Nomi's 007(among other instances including Craig's own tenure, mostly in his first film). I do wanna see Elba there somewhere, but the passing of the torch should probably be done by Tom Hardy. The apprentice should remain Henry Cavill. Elba could be a rogue "Bond" that didn't accept retirement having identified with it for so long and the big bad of the movie(s). Essentially there would be two roads for "James Bond 007"; retirement or death in the field. Elba would believe he's still way too good to retire and trying to prove it to the agency and "M" who selected him personally, but also redeeming himself with self-sacrifice in the end. They might have to age-ify Fiennes like 10-15 years for that to work or replace him I guess.
