(The American remake of The Ring is the only remake I think improves on the original.)
When it comes to Speak No Evil the original and remake endings are so different they are almost different movies. I agree with the reviewer though. If you want justice you'll love the remake. The original is so bloody bleak, but its "message" (stop being polite) did stay with me. I enjoyed watching the remake even more because I'd seen the original first. I felt as if I'd had the justice I was denied first time.
