Everyone loves HxH it's the most uncontroversial fav anyone can have.

You can't even compare the two because HxH isn't for kids. But that's the point, maybe it doesn't belong in the same category because it's too dark. Same way JoJos doesn't really belong in Naruto's grouping. Naruto is a kids show that adults can enjoy. The others are adult shows maybe some kids watch on streaming sites.

Naruto should be #1, not because it's the best show(it's not) but because the quintessential shonen. It's the template. It didn't invent the tropes but distilled them to shape the modern shonen.(for better or worse) Regardless whether anyone wants to admit it, Naruto is the most influential because its accessibility turned anime into a mainstream global phenomenon.
