See AllDragon Ball: Every Saiyan’s Highest Recorded Power Level, Officially Ranked
Now when you say "recorded", is this strictly official sources or just fan service power readings? In the original Japanese anime, Vegeta's power level was read at 490,000 before Freeza's scouter went out on him during the power struggle... Gohan's was never read. And any movie character had no power level reading. Bardock's only official power reading was 2600 in Dragon Ball Super's flashback, which put him in the top 10 strongest Saiyans already. Where the 10,000 reading came from, I don't know... We are taking unofficial sources for this "recording" of power levels?
Vegeta’s 7 Strongest Super Saiyan Forms in the Dragon Ball Franchise, Ranked
Actually, Vegeta in Ultra Ego is currently stronger than Goku's Ultra Instinct. He was capable of fighting more equally and longer with his opponents while Goku had to uncover his newest transformation for Ultra Instinct which still was weaker overall, but he was able to use it without lacking the emotions to maintain it. Ego is currently stronger than Instinct, but like all every time it is subject to change. It's at the point in the story that Vegeta surpasses Goku.
Also, Vegeta's "SSJ3" (or Ultra Vegeta) was indeed stronger than Goku's version. Did you not watch Daima? Also, Vegeta's enraged Super Saiyan 2 also surpassed Goku's SSJ3.
In Super Hero, Goku complained about Vegeta gloating over his win against Goku... Vegeta was stronger in the Super Hero movie. I think someone is a Goku fan rather than objectively looking at the events of the story and how they unfold in a pattern. In fact, until the biggest bad needs to be beaten for story purposes, Vegeta has always surpassed Goku in some fashion at least once every arc, anime-only or canon-manga, you pick.
Dragon Ball: 5 Strongest Characters in the Granolah the Survivor Arc, Ranked
I thought it was implied that Granolah was still more powerful than Goku's newest transformation simply because it allowed him to access his same potential, just without needing to rid himself of feelings. Goku didn't get a power boost, just more control over Ultra Instinct. In fact, "Mastered" Ultra Instinct is still the pinnacle of the ability so if that's the case, Goku is using an inferior version. Also, Vegeta surpassed Goku in the Granolah Arc... Goku is the weakest on this list, though not by much.
5. Goku
4. Vegeta
3. Granolah
2. Gas
1. Freeza
And I believe Gohan and Broly are implied to be stronger, or does the Granolah Arc not coincide with when Super Hero took place which still only leaves Broly.
Say Hello To The New Strongest Shinobi In The Naruto World In 2026
Uzumaki Damn, shame that in Naruto everyone from the older generation took a backseat or was killed in order for Naruto's generation to come to play... Wait, Boruto is following that example so I guess Naruto's generation wasn't as good as they were hyped up to be...
It's Time To Say Goodbye To Konoha's Seventh Hokage Forever
Boruto is the main character in Boruto, not Naruto. Him getting a power up should put him back to his peak or close to it... But that wouldn't be a Boruto series then, just Naruto: Return of the First Generation.
You don't need to have a power up to lead the next generation. You forgot Kakashi? Might Gai? Shikaku? They were leading their next generation already without any massive power ups. So I am unsure how him becoming more powerful is somehow leading the way for Boruto's generation... If anything, he would be a deus ex machina which is the exact opposite.
It's Time To Say Goodbye To Konoha's Seventh Hokage Forever
Naruto was already a reincarnation of a reincarnation...
