For me, it depends how they handle the digital content. Physical books are nice, but I've got limited space and dislike storing and moving tons of books. I'm often playing online and it's easier to find info using online searching tools than referring to a physical books tables of contents or index, and flipping through pages. Integration with other online tools is nice too. But the licensing method that Wizards and a number of other online companies use to handle digital content is frustrating. Happily some digital content providers also provide a "physical" downloadable DLC-free digital copy of a book in PDF format that you own, on top of the online licensed content. I wish that Wizards would follow that trend and "ethical" business practice.
