You never know! Not nobody (I know) had AOT in the top ten after one season. But I'll agree it had all of our curiosity, and if it didn't it should have. It escalated quickly though. Frieren had a great first season! It's not on AOT's level now but it could be. Don't be so dismissive at first, I think it'd be awesome for another anime to give me that AOT feeling!

Frieren put a spell on me! I forced myself through the first few episodes. Then something clicked, all I could think about was what old friend or past experience she revisited. Love AOT, Fist of The North Star was my intro, Bebop...anime of that sort. But Frieren had me captivated somehow. Good stuff
