See AllMajor Anime Piracy Website Suddenly Stops Adding New Content
You know, if by supporting the original creators you mean that pay for 10 different streaming services and still not have all the titles you want to watch, I'd rather choose a different way. Majority of people aren't Pirating Anime to not pay the original creators, no, most don't think that way, they want to save their precious hard earned money by not wasting on things that are not worth spending their money into.
Pirating Anime is an option for people not because it's easy, it's an option because all of the rest of the options are really worst.
The few months after KissAnime got banned, I lost the touch to literally any Anime other than the ones I had already watched. That site did the job of promoting Anime worldwide a lot better than anything else at that time. Same with many other pirate sites.
Let me put it in a simple way -
Suppose you want to buy a product that requires a total of 10 different components for it to be a complete product. All these components are sold by different Companies. But the thing is, only 7 components are sold by the 7 different Companies who are trying to get a hold of profit by acquiring 1 component each and charge us differently by making it a game. 3 components are still missing. Would I rather go to someone who is providing me the whole product with all 10 components, or I pay those 7 different Companies for an incomplete service?
If you remove the source that is providing me a complete product and a better service from equation and force me to go to those 7 other greedy companies, I would rather just avoid that product.
Good Luck enforcing this stupid regulation while not fixing the actual problem that started all this in the first place. Companies are just busy fighting to make profit for themselves while the division caused by it is heavy on the pockets of Audiences who just want to enjoy some time after a long day of work.
