Honestly, this isn't news. 🙄 They confirmed that there wasn't going to be a Sims 5 years back, said that Project Renee wasn't it. Informed us that it'll be a Sims universe and lied in our face that they'll be transparent and give up updates about it throughout the project.

They saw how people were excited for Paralives and "borrowed" some ideas and mechanics from it and people were calling them out in the comments about it. Others stated how long it's been since we've gotten ANY update about Renee, that they're wondering if they hadn't axed that project too.

Let's all face it: Sims 4 is the cash cow that they have no qualms about milking because people have proven they'll buy ANYTHING from them. The company AND consumers are the problem.
