Because it's a fight, a duel. Anything can happen, split second bad decision you're dead. I guess that's why the power scaling is whack. Sometimes you have to take into account the character's energy level, amount of rest they got the night before. They would lose a fight even if they're stronger than the enemy, I don't think there is power creep issue. Thanks
