If they are so "popular" why are they being removed?

It's amazing how Netflix can continuously under deliver, disappoint, spend money making garbage content as opposed to using that money to license and stream actual good content; and yet still be the most popular streaming service. Do they know it won't last? Do they care? Do they feel any pride in having altered the global media landscape? Do they feel any accountability towards the ramifications of their actions?
