As much as I like Final Fantasy Tactics, it's never really struck me as a game that requires deep tactical thinking. Yes, there are a lot of little things that can affect every action, but how many of those things matter when you have 4 Calculators? Or Monks with the Two Swords ability? Or 3 Dancers with Short Charge and 2 Mimes? Or any other combination of classes that completely breaks the game?
Persona: 7 Biggest Traditions In the Series
I'd say one of the biggest traditions is the Tarot, especially with regards to the Fool's Journey. This is made pretty explicit in P3 with one of the lectures detailing the FJ, and it's an apt description of the arc that all the protagonists take. If you removed the Major Arcana from a future Persona game, I'd argue it would feel more like a spinoff than a real Persona.

You don't even need to really grind. If you have Kimahri take a dip into Rikku's section, then take the shortcut into the last portion of Lulu's, he straight up replaces her as your party's black mage. He'll do more damage than anyone that's not an aeon from that moment forward, unless you're griding to fight the superbosses.
