Netflix Has A 2025 Surprise For The Walking Dead Fans
Listen up, because I don't have time for nonsense. You’re trying to convince me that this Dead City spin-off is some heartfelt journey about redemption and family? You think I'm going to believe that after Negan literally bashed Glenn’s skull in, and now you expect me to buy that he’s suddenly a hero? That’s the scam you’re trying to sell me?
Maggie wants to get her son back, right? Fine. But do we need to drag this man—who directly caused the worst day of her life—along for the ride? Does this spin-off need to revolve around that guy? It’s like trying to polish a turd and hoping no one notices the smell.
And as for the whole ‘fixing his career’ thing—who’s making the decision here, the writers or the fans? You can’t just slap some emotional moments together, throw in a little redemption narrative, and expect me to fall for it. It's lazy, and it's insulting to the audience. We’re supposed to believe Maggie’s just going to forgive and forget because now there's a child involved? Give me a break. It’s nothing more than an unnecessary plot device to make Negan more palatable.
Heck, Maggie should've died off too or had a romance with Daryl, NOT THIS! So, no. This isn’t a redemption story. This is a desperate attempt to salvage a character who should have stayed on the villain side and not tried to hijack the spotlight for emotional manipulation. Bring back the way we live!
