See AllWhy Oblivion Remastered Players Are Flocking Back to Skyrim
The people have spoken. To any of you saying Oblivion is better than Skyrim you are wrong, the numbers don't lie. 80 hours into Oblivion you have pretty much done everything the game has to offer, its so repetative I can't recall the amount of places I visited that were exact clones of other places, the looting on the game is terrible you can spend an hour breaking into houses and businesses to find absolutely nothing worth picking up at all. The city's feel dead, no atmosphere at all, the main quest line is painfully short, the combat is absolutely hilariously bad and the way the world levels up around you gives you no sense of achievement at all. You equip your new armour, your new weapons etc only to find out the lower end enemies actually get removed from the map lol and even a pathetic bandit is wearing daedric armour amd using the best weapons in the game. This levelling system is so outdated. The game was good but after a day playing it it still feels very old and outdated. Whereas Skyrim still feels fresh and is honestly better in everyway. The numbers don't lie, 1 month after release and more people have gone back to Skyrim after Oblivion than the actual player count on Oblivion right now. That's a fact that tells you everything you need to know. The ONLY people saying Oblivion is better than Skyrim are 35/40 year olds on a nostalgia trip
